Origin

Our Story

Established approximately two years ago, Orbit began as a shared vision among student leaders wanting to make a tangible difference in society.

What started as simple resource discussions soon evolved into a structured youth-led social impact organization. We recognized that while communities want to help and schools want to support, there is often a gap in direct, transparent collections and distributions. Orbit was founded to bridge that gap.

Our operation is simple yet impactful: we collect, we care, and we donate. Through book donation campaigns, plantation drives, and local community service activities, we turn resources into meaningful relief and learning opportunities. By keeping our processes direct and transparent, we cultivate trust and encourage greater community engagement.

Orbit Group of Companies is proudly associated with Chennai Public School, Thirumazhisai.

This association serves as a cornerstone for our initiatives. Partnering with the school allows us to engage with student volunteers, coordinate book collections, run ecological campaigns, and reach educational institutions that need support. Orbit Group of Companies exists because we believe that the youth represent a powerful, untapped force for social welfare. Too often, charitable activities are handled via top-down structures that lack student engagement. Orbit changes this by placing students at the center of the organization.

By coordinating textbook collections and distributing them to underprivileged schools, we ensure books get a second life while supporting student literacy. By carrying out plantation drives, we teach environmental accountability while doing our part to counter carbon footprints. Our three-step framework—"We Collect. We Care.
